How do I add Digital Media as my minor?Go to your Advising Center! As a freshman, you are assigned a freshman academic advisor through the Freshman Advising Center located on the third floor of North Quad in Room 339. Once you have completed 30 credits and have a declared major, you will be assigned to an upper division departmental advisor based on your current major, and their offices are located across campus within the academic departments. The name and contact information for your upper division advisor will be listed on your DegreeWorks. For those who have completed their 30 credits and declared a major, your upper division advisor will also receive support from the Upper Division Advising Center located in AC 224. Current students choosing to change/add a major/minor go to the Upper Division Advising Center for completion of the paperwork.

What if I'm not good with technology? Or if I can't afford the software? That is perfectly fine! We're not expecting you to come in an expert. Each of our media design classes start with the basics, build the knowledge foundation, and issue small assignments that test your skills. If you fall behind or need additional help, the professor is available to help in the classroom setting. Throughout the course of the semester, you'll become more adept with the programs! We do not expect you to purchase the software! We use Adobe products, and the computers in the classrooms already have them. If you want to work on assignments/projects outside of the classroom, the computers in Bracken Library AND the CAP Building across from Robert Bell have computers with the updated Adobe software.
